Tällä kurssilla tutustutaan Windows 8 työasema ja sovellus käyttöönottojen suunnitteluun ja toteutuksiin sekä hallintaan. Kurssi antaa ohjeita käyttämällä useita tekniikoita, kuten User State Migration Tool (USMT), Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), ja Microsoft System Center 2012. Lisäksi kurssi kuvataan, miten suojaa työasemia ja valvoa niiden terveyteen ja suorituskykyyn. Tutustutaan myös Windows 8 virtuaaliympäristöön ja pilviratkaisuun.

Kurssi on ensisijaisesti tarkoitettu IT-ammattilaisille, jotka hallinnoivat isoja työasemaympäristöjä ja haluavat tutustua Windows 8 työasemien ja sovellusten käyttöönottoihin. Henkilöille, jotka tähtääväät Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): Desktop Infrastructure sertifiointiin.

Esitietovaatimukset

Kurssille osallistujalla tulisi olla:

  • Hyvä ymmärrys TCP/IP:n perusteista ja verkkoinfrastruktuurin käsitteistä
  • Hyvä käytännön tuntemus Windows Server 2012 ja Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) osalta – esimerkiksi toimialueen käyttäjätilit, toimialueen vs. paikalliset käyttäjätilien erot, käyttäjäprofiilit ja ryhmäjäsenyydet.
  • Kokemusta ohjelmistopaketoinnista, image-työkaluista ja käyttöönotoista
  • Yleistä tietoa hallintatyökaluista, kuten System Center 2012 Configuration Manager, System Center 2012 Operations Manager ja System Center 2012 Data Protection Manager
  • MCSA: Windows Server 2012 -sertifiointia vastaavat tiedot.
